art classes until she began college. She studied Architecture

University of Arizona with a Bachelor Degree of Architecture.

in the construction industry, Ms. Frederick was able
to continue to paint and completed several commissioned
portraits. When her husband's work took the family to
live in Togo, West Africa and to Romania, Eastern Europe,
she established studios and was able to exclusively
concentrate on her art.
Ms. Frederick continues to hone her skills by taking
classes and workshops with esteemed portrait artists
including Daniel Green, Ellen Cooper, and Kerry Dunn
at the Studio Incamminati. She has participated in workshops
with acclaimed artists such as Richard McKinley, Maggie
